Copies of twelve letters written by Jeremiah Baker, a settler in Fremont, Wisconsin, and in Eau Galle, Wisconsin, in which he writes of his activities and surroundings, and of his Civil War service in the 8th Regiment, Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry; and letters from the donor providing genealogical information. Baker was also known as R. James Baker and Rinaldo J. Baker.
